Bridal Bouquet

Have I shown you my bridal bouquet yet?

I love it! I found this picture at Borders when I was probably waiting for Andrew to get off work. This was when we were crazy enough to think that maybe we could possibly do the flowers for our wedding by ourselves! I laugh when I think of that. It would have saved a ton of money but I think it is well worth the money for our awesome florist.(there is a link to all wedding stuff on the side of my blog) Anyway, back to the point, at Borders I was looking at books about floral arrangements to see if it was possible for me to do it and to get some ideas. I found this picture on a wedding organizer cover (as you can see from the picture) and I LOVE it!!! Also, it will look a little different bc there will be something wrapped around the stems that will be awesome. It's hard to explain it. They are orange calla lilies and the green is wire. I had to send a copy of it to our florist, so she can duplicate it! There will also be a mini one for me to toss at the wedding to some lucky girl....

I found these really cute orange lanterns for more decoration. They are 10$ at IKEA! And I love them! It's funny how this wedding started out with the colors being blue and brown and it morphed into a TON of orange! The centerpieces are going to be 3 orange gerbera daisies and 3 white gerbera daisies in a medium height squared vase with blue pebble things in to keep them in place. Then all the bridesmaid's bouquets are going to be 6 orange gerbera daisies with some green monkey grass to make it similar to the green wire in my bouquet. Then the groomsmen are going to be one orange gerbera daisy with a green leaf behind it. Andrew's will be one calla lily with I think wire or something, I forget, but it is suppose to be really similar to mine.
Then we have a flower girl little Addison who will have a halo of white and orange gerbera daisies on her head and the ring bearer Landon, will have a mini orange gerbera daisy. The dads are going to be like the groomsmen and the mom's will have a corsage with white and orange mini gerbera daisies.
I have shown you a picture of the cake. So you know how the flowers are going to be with that. The picture I showed you though has different colors, but we are sticking with orange!

So that is all the flowers for the wedding. Not a ton or anything bc it is going to be outside and there will be flowers all over anyway, so I think that the orange lanterns are going to be inside where the food is bc there wont be much decorations in there. Although the food alone is going to be very decorative and colorful so it should be beautiful! I cannot wait!

More than 4 months away! :(

I still have not even gone looking for a wedding dress, but that is mostly because I wanted to get all the planning out of the way, which is now out of the way. So basically I have no excuse. I also had NO idea what I wanted but now I do! So, I will probably go in May sometime to look. Who knows, I don't think I will have a hard time finding something I like. I have looked at David's Bridal online and love a couple of their dresses so we will see! I will post the dress when I get it on my private blog so Andrew cannot see it!
